OMG!!! DID YOU HEAR??
Our beloved Addy Walker is on a nationwide shortage! No Addy dolls in any store or online! Until January 16 that is!
I am actually very pleased with the Addy shortage, because Addy is a stunning doll (got her for Christmas this year) and nobody really appreciates her and she is very overlooked. Apparently not anymore!
I sent an e-mail to American Girl's customer service asking about the Addy shortage, and here's what they said!

Hi AG, I am an extremely frequent customer and I shop at the AGP Boston.
I am friends with many workers including personal shoppers, security and
even the manager. I was there yesterday for Grace's debut and loved her
collection, but was a bit concerned with the nation wide Addy shortage?
I received Addy for Christmas and love her, and am actually pleased with
her shortage. People actually notice Addy now! I was just wondering if
you may know the cause of the shortage?

Addy has been very popular this year. While we had a significant amount
of inventory planned for Addy, she sold out very quickly. However, we do
have more of her on their way and we should be receiving them by January
16, 2015.
It is nice to know that Addy has a great home with you. We appreciate
your interest and hope you enjoy our products for many years to come.
