January 1, 2015- Grace GOTY 2015 Debut

Hi There!

Yesterday I went to the American Girl Place Boston at the Natick Collection for the debut of Grace Thomas, Girl of the Year 2015.

The night before (New Years Eve) I slept over ShiningStarAG/StarAGDolls house and we had a blast! We left her house at around 8:00 am and headed to the American Girl Store, about a half hour away.

Once we got there, we waited in line for about 1.5 hours (not too bad!) and we were about 30th in line. At 9:30, some personal shoppers delivered us catalogues to spend our time looking at.

As soon as we walked in, I grabbed a Grace doll and her "City Outfit" and moved away from the Grace area. So crowded! My personal shopper told me that they had about 1,500 Grace dolls in the store. WOW! The line was horrendous but luckily we didn't have to wait, thanks to our wonderful personal shopper (thank God for our lifesaver, DEBORAH!!!!!!!).

We had an Instagram meet up while we were there. The people who came were:

I ended up buying:
- Grace Doll & Book (renamed her Khylie)
- Bitty Baby Snuggly Giraffe Stuffed Animal
- Grace's City Outfit
- Addy's Lunch Pail
- Caroline's Calf Garnet

In the goodie bags there were:
- doll sized passports
- girl and doll sized luggage tags
- doll sized Grace posters
- doll sized menus to La Patisserie
- doll sized Paris post cards
- doll sized apron
