A Day at the Pool: A Photo Story

STARRING: ANNA, BARKSEE AND PEYTON

"Hey Anna! Lets go to the pool!" Peyton said.

"Okay! We'll have tons of fun!" Anna replied.

"Ruff!" Barksee agreed.

Once Anna and Peyton got to the pool, They did many things…

They got a tan.

"Ugh. I should've put on more sun screen!" Anna groaned.

They even went swimming!

"Anna! Come feel the water! It's so nice!" Peyton exclaimed.

After that, they went home. Once they got there, they went into Anna's room.

The talked for a while, and then Nellie came upstairs with two slices of pizza for lunch.

"Bon appétit!" Nellie said as she handed Peyton the tray.

"Hold on a second, Peyton! I need to do my type 1 diabetes routine for before I eat," Anna explained.

"Okay," Peyton said, nodding.

First, Anna checked her glucose levels on her glucose monitor.

"Great! 104! That's normal," Anna said.

Anna looked down at her insulin pump and gave herself just the right amount of insulin. The insulin went from her pump through the cannula tubes into her site on her stomach.

Then, Peyton and Anna ate their lunch.

It was the end to a very nice day.
